Avichik Poultsï¿½ was started in 2016 with the mission of providing high quality corn products and grain warehousing. Our mission is to be the leading provider of maize-based ingredients for food and industrial applications in Uganda

Products
We purchase maize from farmers in Mpigi ï¿½region and then add value to it by sorting, cleaning, grading and then selling it to theï¿½ local millers, factories, schools and also scope international traders from Kenya , U.S, UK, Southern Sudan.
We also store grain for depositors for a fee. We have a warehouse which can store 6,000 Metric Tons of grain in a year. We are registered and certified by Uganda Warehouse Receipts System Authority (UWRSA) who trained us in warehousing meaning that our products easily make it to the international market.
Supply
We generally deal in grains but our main product is maize which we sort, clean, grade and re-bag in 50kg bags. We are looking for suppliers because of increasing market demand which has resulted in us increasing our warehouse to handle 6,000 Metric Tons of grain in a year. The quality of our maize is proven because of the rigorous sorting and grading process that we subject our grain to.

We currently have 150 farmers who supply us with maize regularly in line with two of our core values of caring about communities & our environment and creating ongoing win-win partnerships with our suppliers.
