Introduction
Behind b & d design and crafts, we are - a small dedicated team that is based in Tunisia and Germany. We have made it our mission to work for the preservation of traditional arts and crafts. One craft, at the end of something special is: Woven Hand substances that tell their own story.

It is precisely our "hobby", the Fouta, comes in Tunisia manifold for use - as a scarf, shawl or blanket in all conceivable situations. Items such as shepherdesses their traditional Berber costumes often with a Fouta.

Yet the Fouta is also worn on special occasions - embroidered with real gold and silver threads. Color and material of the Fouta and the way they can, in addition, provide information on the respective region in Tunisia. This shows how deep the Fouta is interwoven as fabric and garment with the life of Tunisians.

What we offer, we even love. Because as important as the preservation of the traditional weavers craft in small studios, are the quality of our products and the materials used.

We also want to give you a piece of oriental life into their own hands and thus your everyday life.This creates a connection between people of different cultures. We are pleased about.

Quality
Our crafted by hand scarves, shawls and blankets are unique pieces that can be reproduced in limited quantities. All our products are of the highest quality and are made of selected, fine and pure cotton, which is partly replaced by pure silk in our shawls.

Human & Environment
Our products are traditionally handcrafted - in elaborate and sustainable process. So we protect the environment and contribute to the preservation of arts and crafts and the associated jobs.

The people who stand behind our products, live in rural areas of Tunisia. Here, the proportion of women is higher than average among employees.

The design of our products, we work in small businesses - together with weavers who are masters of their craft and maintain the traditional craft of weaving for generations.

Personalization
Our Foutas can be embroidered on request with individual company logo or with labels. Whatever you envision - talk to us, we make it possible.

Color Wishes
Basically, we are happy to meet any color desired. To implement, we need an internationally standardized color code (RAL or Pantone code). Please note, however, that the required colors may be subject in the production of textiles slight variations.

Exclusivity
On the German market, we are the first and only company to offer the Foutas traditionally produced in Tunisia and crafted by hand shawls and blankets.

Delivery Method
Depending on the size of the order, we offer different delivery options. Smaller quantities we can mail or air freight transport to you quickly and easily, larger orders we ship by ship.

Payment Arrangements
Depending on the order amount we agree on a deposit 30-40% of the value - the rest is due to complete delivery. If you prefer a different payment model, please contact us.
