Florina is a company first established under the name Hermes Balkan AD. During the first years of its operation, the company distributed in Bulgaria juices and soft drink under the Florina trademark of the Greek company Florina – A. Honeos S.A. In 1997, the company invested in Bulgaria and purchased a non-functioning factory with the adjoining territories in Sofia. In 1999 the juices of Florina Bulgaria AD win “Golden Lion†award at the Produced in Bulgaria national exhibition. In 2000 Florina won the Golden Apple award at InterEco international exhibition for organically clean products. In 2002 the company started using new technology of de-aeration, homogenization and precise pasteurization and those fully excluded the need of adding preservatives and guarantees products durability. Their natural taste qualities, minerals and vitamins are preserved. An integrated software controls each step of the recipe sequence, which eliminates the possibility of committing human errors. In 2008 Florina Bulgaria AD was audited and received a BRC( British Retail Consortium) Global Standards certificate for food control. In 2013, we made 20 years since Florina brand’s entered the Bulgarian market. In 2014 the company changed it’s name to Best Fruits EOOD and increased drastically its present in the internal market. At the moment we are the biggest private label producer in Bulgaria. As well, our market share of Florina brand products increased significantly for the last few years. Taking into consideration our production capacity, we need to increase our export. This actually is the main business development strategy for the next 5 year period.
