The Dayak people of Borneo have been making art works as part of their tradition for two Millennia. Most of their works have never been exposed to the general public, the same is true for their jewelry making.
Kerri, founder of Borneo Exotique, lives in Borneo and has been an avid collector of the Dayak tribes jewelry. She is captivated by their unique designs, patterns and motifs. Inspired by the beauty of these unique art forms, she and her sister Kim Beiers embark on a journey to promote these traditional crafts and some of their more contemporary forms to the world.
