December of 2006 Jimmy of Colapin-bag ripped me off. Jimmy represented a handbag as being fabric and leather trimmed. I paid his per bag price plus shipping based on this representation. Before Colapin shipped the bags I gave the shipping address that I wanted my package shipped to. This was disregarded and my package shipped to an address Colapin had on file. I had to hunt down the package to receive it. When I opened the package it reeked of fresh PU. The bags inside were junk, literally. Half of the bags were missing hardware trim or the trim fell off of the bags as I removed them from the box. The actual per bag value of these bags was about 1/3 of the price Jimmy had charged me. Colapin’s web site stated they accepted returns. I contacted Jimmy to inform him of what I had received and to arrange returning the bags. Jimmy did not want me to return the bags. Instead, he wanted me to keep the junk bags. He wanted me to make a new purchase and wanted to send me three leather bags as a replacement for the junk bags. The junk bags cost me almost $700.00. And after Jimmy tacted on a new shipping for sending me replacement bags, the per unit price of the leather replacement bags, was higher than the straight out prices posted on Colapin\'s web site. We exchanged many emails over this. I believed that it was obvious that Jimmy was trying to rip me off once again. So I contacted Colapin\'s customer service and asked to communicate with whoever was boss and ended my communication with Jimmy. I was contacted by Changkang Tang (Kang) who said he was boss. Kang apologized for Jimmy and told me that Jimmy had lied to me. He said Jimmy had lied to me because he wanted to make more money for himself and for Colapin. After many more email exchanges, Kang also wanted me to keep the junk bags but he proposed sending me six leather bags to make up for the junk. According to him, I would receive five bags, the sixth bag would pay for shipping. I accepted his proposal. He asked me to choose replacement bags right away. I did as he requested and submitted a list and asked him to confirm availability. Once he confirmed, I sent him my finalized selections. After Kang received this, he began to back out of our agreement. And again we communicated back and forth. He brought up the junk bags. I told him that I was more than willing to return them to him. (I had been all along) Finally he told me he would honor our agreement and keep his word. Jimmy’s rip off did my business severe damage. During a crucial period when I expected to have inventory I didn\'t. Sales I expected to make during that period were lost. Making up for the loss was critical for me. Replacement bags were very important. Because of this and the condition of the first package I received I asked Kang to please see to it that the replacement bags were quality inspected before shipped. After all of our communication back and forth when it came time for Colapin to actually ship, I received a new email from Kang, It said that the bags he confirmed as available were not. So in other words,once again he was attempting to not keep his word and to back out of our agreement. Colapin wanted to burn up any credit they owed me in shipping fees. Which more or less was Jimmy’s original idea. I received a package from Colapin that had three leather bags in it. One of the bags was from the list Kang had me submit to him. Apparently no one did as I asked and inspected the package before it was shipped to me. The one bag from my list arrived broken, which made it worthless. A dust bag in the same package had a hole in it and looked like it had been drove over. I informed Kang of what I received. I am not a bag maker and not in a position to repair broken bags. I attempted to return the broken bag to get it replaced. I used the only reasonable shipping method I have available, USPS. The only tracking they provide is the custom’s number. I labeled my return package in english and chinese and included Colapin’s phone number. I contacted Kang and let him know that I had shipped the bag. In our replacement agreement I told Kang that I would purchase other bags from him if he made good on the bad order. In order to receive the rest of my replacement bags, I placed a second order. And prayed for the best. According to Kang, long after he should have received the broken bag I returned to him, he hadn\'t. I explained that it was possible that delivery had been attempted while Colapin was on a leave of absence vacation. I asked Kang if he would please check with his postal carrier. Kang offered no help. Two months later, the broken bag I returned, was simply gone. Colapin\'s lack of assistance or ordinary care exhausted and depleted any last tolerance or patience I had. My entire experience with Colapin had been a hellish nightmare that cost me dearly, well beyond what I spent. Because of this, I informed Kang that I would pursue reporting Colapin-bag to any and all agencies I could. At this point, out money and sales beyond any repair, I packaged up the two bags Colapin sent me that I didn\'t order. I had no use for them no prospects of selling them which is exactly why I hadn\'t ordered them. They were only sitting taking up space. So I shipped them off too. Shortly after I made Kang aware that I intended to report Colapin-bag he emailed me and told me he just received the first package I mailed him. As for the second package, once again, it is gone. As for the broken bag in the first package, the package Kang finally received, Colapin has never replaced the broken bag. And now when I send Colapin-bag email, they ignore it. It is possible that I still have a copy of the original western union payment I sent Colapin. If you need a copy of this I will try and locate it for you. About the shipping , generally about 5 bags to US, is about 75 USD, if you want put 5 bags in 2 parcels, you need to add 20 usd. According to my experience, those days, i suggest you give me two address, i send 2 parcels to 2 different address, i think it is very safe way. Please let me know your idea. Fraud complaint - This company stole $910 from me. I paid with Western Union and they won't send me my items. I was a customer for about 1 year and never one problem. Then I ordered some bags and wallets and one bag came with a burnt hole in it and all pre-requested wallet tags were printed incorrectly. They said that the bag damage occured during shipping which makes no sense as the shipping box was not burnt at all and in perfect condition. Even the dustbag had a giant hole in it with singed edges. The second bag I order was defective as well with a metal plate glued in the front rather than in the back as it should have been. My representative (Jimmy who is still listed on their website as the contact person although they say he was fired due to his mistreatment of me) said Colapin would not fix the problem unless I ordered and pre paid for 7 more bags. I was arguing about this with my representative Jimmy back and forth by email. Then the owner of the company who I always make the Western Union Payments to (Hai Huang) said he was going to fire my representative and was sending the replacement. I received the replacement bag and tags. I placed another order with Hai Huang for $910. During this time I had written to Hai Huang at the normal email of Colapin when I sent photos of damages on another bag I received and to another Colapin email address. This was a the email address Hai Huang wrote to me from when he said he would be firing Jimmy due to his mistreatment of me within 10 days. I paid with Western Union for this new $910 order. I was supposed to receive 11 Isabella Fiore bags and 4 wallets. Then when I wrote Colapin to find out the status it was a constantly changing story about how my old representative who was now fired was really pretending to be Hai Huang and they said they would not send me the bags and wallets I ordered. When I asked them how it was possible that this representative wrote to me to tell me he would be fired pretending to be the owner and then somehow collected the money sent in the owners name they kept changing the story. My representative was at the company for 10 days after the incident with me and if my information was stolen by this employee it is still their fault. My order was happening while both Jimmy and Hai Huang were working for this company. Jimmy is still listed as the main contact on their company website today. They say they fired him because he would not fix my initial problem of the burnt hole in the bag but then they claim this fired person was the one who sent the replacement bag??? So they supposedly fired someone over something they refused to fix themselves. They are saying they fired him because he would not replace my damaged bags but then who replaced my damaged bags. The whole premise of their con is that Jimmy stole my information and send me the replacement bag himself so that I would order more later and he could steal my money. If they fired him over not replacing my bag they would have replaced my bag themselves which is what happened. Hai Huang emailed me that the bag would be replaced and Jimmy would be fired in 10 days time. I have some of these emails in my attachment. It is obvious that they are angry that they had to send me a free bag to replace the damaged one sent and devised a scheme to steal my money ($910) which I paid to whom I always pay - the owner Hai Huang. During the course of the email they even lied to me at one point saying that Hai Huang just worked in the packing department and was not an important employee. Maybe they forget that he is the owner and the same person I have been making Western Union payments to for the past year. Then later they wrote to me that Hai Huang has “millions of dollars” and does not care about my small $910 order. The story just kept changing but the bottom line is that they have my $910 and will not send my items paid for. I have reported this to the FBI as well as to Interpole. This used to be a good company but now they send damaged goods and steal money from people 6000 miles away who they think can’t complain. My Western Union official paperwork is attached. The date of payment was May 29, 2007. I have some of the emails attached underneath in the attachment. There was a space limit on attachments so I put the hightlights. The supposedly fired “Jimmy” is also currently listed as legal representative and CEO on your website as well. In addition to this it has come to my attention that the Isabella Fiore products Colapin sells are counterfeits. It is illegal to ship counterfeit goods into the US. I don’t know that Trade Key is aware of this but Trade Key posts them as a highly regarded Gold Key members. I am just looking to have my stolen money ($910) returned or products I ordered. I would like this nightmare to be solved but if not I will pursue every avenue available. Hopefully Tradekey can help me to communicate with this group of swindlers who are just looking to steal my money and take me for some sort of fool Geraldine Rymar
