Elmex salines company is the largest salt producer in Egypt and middle east .Today, we can produce in excess of 2.7mn tones of raw salt every year. In fact, our share of salt exporting from Egypt is about 1000000 tons/y which represent around 85% of the salt exported from Egypt annually. We export salt to many countries such as USA, Turkey, Cyprus, Bulgaria , Lebanon, and Slovenia, â?¦.etc.-The Company produces various forms of salt (sodium chloride ) for edible and industrial usage and All the products are produced in accordance to the conditions and specifications prescribed by the Arab Republic of Egypt and in accordance to the standards set by the Ministry of Health. The products are subject to periodic inspections by the Ministry of Health and the Egyptian Standards Society
