Sell anode
Carbon anodes are made from petrol coke and coal tar pitch through a process of mixing, vibrating and pressing followed by high-temperature baking. The resulting blocks are used as anodes in prebake aluminum reduction cells for the production of aluminum. We can produce them according to individual customer requirement.
Our prebake anodes have low ash content, low sulphur content and low electrical resistance. They are suitable for high-power electrolysis cells.

CATHODE BLOCKS
The cathode parts of aluminum reduction cell which contact with molten aluminum and electrolyte bath are composed of carbon material. Cathode blocks tend to deteriorate due to cracks caused by thermal stress and/or swelling due to sodium penetration during the operation. Aluteck supplies cathode qualities with a range of graphite contents that enables us to offer electrical resistivities from standard levels to low resistivity. Aluteck cathode blocks are in service worldwide and are used by all the leading aluminium producers. The blocks are fully machined to meet the demanding dimensional tolerances required by current aluminium smelting technology. We can produce partially of fully graphitized cathode carbon block with longer pot life and lower electrical consumption.
SIDEWALL BLOCKS
Aluteck supplies cathode qualities with a range of graphite contents that enables us to offer electrical resistivities from standard levels to low resistivity. Our sidewall blocks are available in both carbon and silicon carbide grades, including composite sidewall pieces.
â?¢ CARBON sidewall blocks based upon ECA/graphite mixtures.
â?¢ Si3N4 Bonded SiC products: nitride bonded silicon carbide sidewall blocks, offering high thermal conductivity and excellent resistance to oxidation and bath corrosion.
â?¢ COPOSITE SIDEWALL is a two component side lining comprising of a Si3N4 Bonded SiC products glued to a CARBON block. The baked carbon piece can be manufactured to provide the required sidewall lining profile and effectively replaces part of the side ram. The thermal conductivity of the composite block can be engineered to suit a particular thermal regime.
