The SiRF III version of our popular Compact Flash Slot 1 type GPS receiver is ideally suited to walkers, hikers, mountain bikers, off-road enthusiasts or any other form of outdoor activity.

We have two options; the standard is suitable for those who purely wish to use the GR-271 with a PDA or Pocket PC whilst laptop users are directed to choose the laptop option as setout below. Because laptops have a PCMCIA slot (PC slot) and no GPS is manufactured with a PC slot in mind, an adapter is used to allow the CF card GPS be used in both types of slots.

Often laptops are positioned where the GPS will clearly see the sky, thus the inclusion of the external antenna. Available to buyers with ABN/ACN and in relevant retail/ OEM/ install industry.
