One owner, set was purchased new in1941, all original pieces (no replacements) in Illinois, USA The set is Sterling, made by Gorhams, a complete service for 8, with ladle, cake knife, other extras. 53 pieces total.
It is in it's original, tarnish resistant case, manufactured also by gorhams. The Cammelia pattern is unique in that it was only made in 1941 and 1942. The total weight is near 8 lbs. Each piece is dated and marked by Gorhams. A beautiful set, that was kept all these years by a lover of silver, and maintained very carefully by her.
