Silicon rubber for mold making with general hardness of 22-55 shore A after curing. Molding silicon rubber is a kind of liquid which features with good resistance to deformation, good tensile and tear strength, acid-alkali as well as high reproduction times, good flowability and easy operation.

If customer wants to make large products and large size molds, the mold should be made of silicon rubber with high hardness. On the contrary, if the mold with dedicate and precision patterns, it should make of silicon rubber with low hardness. The mixing ratio between the silicon rubber and the curing agent depents on the customers’ requirement. If clients needs fast drying and demold, more curing agent will be added; contrarily, if molds requiring slower drying and demould, less curing agent is needed.
(Note: our company does not recommend you to add silicon oil, if a special soft silicon mold or fine or dedicate pattern products are required, 5%-10% silicon oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demould)

1. Why should the silicone mold be reused only for a few times?
It can be due to the following reasons:
a. Adding too much silicone oil in to silicon rubber. Silicon oil is an additive which destroies the molecular weight of silicone rubber and reduce the tension and tear strength.
b. Using the silicon rubber with a high hardness to make molds for small sized products with delicate and intricate designs and the silicon rubber with a low hardness to makes molds for large sized products with simple designs.
(Notes: we should choose the silicon rubber specifically according to the requirements of our products to avoid this problem.)

Pad Printing silicone rubber with the advantages of abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance, good printing effect, etc. , which made of top-quality raw material due to adding American Dupont Teflon high-temperature resistance new material, is processed through high-temperature machining.

Pad printing silicon rubber is two-component silicon, part A is the liquid silicon rubber, part B is the catalyst. The usual mixing ratio for silicon rubber and catalyst is 100:2-3, eg. We take 100grams of liquid silicon rubber, then we add 2-3 grams catalyst, mix then evenly and pour it to your mold. Then after 2-4 hours, you will obtain a printing pad.
