This is a brief description of the events relating to a fraud event involving Makendo Trading in South Africa and the main contact, Mustafa Ahim. I signed up for TradeKey on 8/17/2015. I posted on 8/19/2015 about finding a supplier for a flashlight stun gun supplier of a specified model. Makendo Trading responded a few hours later stating he could provide the same device I linked to. We exchanged emails clarifying the order and I paid him through Western Union on 8/31/2015. On 9/7/2015, he sent an email stating he couldn\'t fulfill my 100 piece order because he would have to incur a \"lost\". he could only make 2000 pieces for an additional $7530. Needles to say, I began questioning this transaction. The relationship deteriorated and on 9/12/2015 I requested a refund of the order amount. He made several offers to send the items as originally ordered. I have yet to receive anything. I felt the need to warn others about this outfit and hopefully they get banned from the site a the very least. Let me know if you need anything else from me.

The company Makendo Trading Reg :2009/043449/23 is already de-registered. Attached is the prove from www.cipro.gov.za. Please remove this company from tradekey silver account.

WARNING Makendo Trading is a scam site. I requested a quote and was sent an email with the price which was supposed to include transport. As soon as I paid, I was told I had to increase the order to 10 tonnes! When I refused I was told that I would have to pay an extra R1 500 for the shipping costs. I said I would pay the courier direct, this was refused. Eventually I said I wanted a refund, they replied that they do not give refunds. When I said I would report them on the internet they said they would pay by Monday, which they have failed to do. I have all the correspondence to prove this warning. I have lost my money but perhaps this will save someone else from being defrauded. I dealt with a person claiming to be Mustafa Ahim when I phoned the number listed on this site.
