The Pure Company is located in Ghana, and one of the major manufacturers and distributors of purified degummed shea butter. The main source of our shea butter is from the northern savannah belt of Ghana, and is mainly sourced from local women in the Northern parts of Ghana.
Currently, The Pure Company can process about 1, 200tons of shea butter per year and aims at processing 10, 000 tons within 3 years.
The Pure Company uses an innovative process of fine milling and a series of centrifuges to extract the shea butter. This entire process is done under a controlled temperature below 100Â°C. The entire
system is made of stainless steel and only purified water is added in the extraction process.
