PROCEDURE �THESE ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE
1) Buyer sends ICPO with banking details (signed by Seller).
2) Seller sends FCO, which will include seller�s banking details. Buyer signs and returns. (FCO is valid for 3 Int�l
business days only).
3) Bank Officers from Buyer and Seller bank establish communication and arrange confirmation of each party�s
ability to fulfil the terms of the Spot � ie �POP is in hand and is owned by, and in the name of, the Seller, and
Buyer is capable of supplying SBLC. Verbiage for SBLC must be approved by Buyer Bank officer at this
point.
4) Contract is issued and signed by both parties.
5) Buyer�s bank sends to Seller�s bank their financial readiness to buy the 100, 000MT of D2. This must be in the
form of the SBLC with verbiage matching that was agreed to at step 3.
6) Seller�s bank sends full POP to buyer�s bank (from same banks).
7) Satisfactory SGS Inspection, title to 100, 000 MT Spot is transfered.
8) The payment will be in USD by wire transfer MT 103 within 2 int�l banking days after title is transfered.
