Centrifugal Separator
Centrifugal separator is also called centrifugal chute. There are various types of centrifugal separators at present, but their structures are almost the same. With the great generated centrifugal force, the course of gravity separation can be strengthened, which will make the recycling of fine particles more effective. Thus, the centrifugal separator is widely used in the recycling of slime of tungsten, tin, iron and so on.
Structure of centrifugal separator:
Centrifugal separator is mainly composed of two parts: separation part and auxiliary part.
1. Separation part. The rotary drum is the separation part. The drum is a hollow frustum with a gradient of 3°to 5°. It is fixed on the axis via the chassis, thus, to rotate around the axis.
2. Auxiliary part. This part includes several main units: feeding device, discharging device, washing device, operation control device and so on.
Separation process and principle of centrifugal separator are like the following:
rotary drum is rotate at a high speed, when the ore slurry is fed into the drum, it will also rotate speedily. Under the effect of the centrifugal force, on one hand, the heavy mineral will be deposited on the inner wall of the rotary drum and rotate with the drum; on the other hand, the light mineral will rotate at a differential drive and along the inclined direction to flow to the discharging part-thus form the tailings. After three-minute separation, the and separation part of the feeding device will automatically depart from its normal position and stop feeding ore slurry to the drum. The separation part of the discharging device will also automatically depart from its normal position after the tailings have been discharged-in order to intercept the headings. Then, the high pressure washing valve will automatically open to wash away the deposited headings on the inner wall of the rotary drum. When the headings have been completely discharged, the separation parts of the feeding device and the discharging device will automatically reset and start the next separation circulation.
Coal Slime Dryer
Coal slime dyer is a new type of drying machine, which is designed on the base of roller dryer. It is widely used in:
1. Coal industry to dry coal slime, raw coal, cleaned coal by flotation and other materials;
2. Construction industry to dry blast furnace slag, clay, limestone, sand, quartz and other materials;
3. Mineral processing industry to dry various metallic headings, slag, tailings and other materials;
4. Chemical industry to dry substance with little heat sensitivity.
Table Concentrator
Table concentrator generally consists of bed surface, framework and transmission mechanism. Apart from that, there are also wash gutter, feeding chute, chassis and so on. The whole bed is supported or suspended by the rack that with gradient adjusting device.
Table concentrator is able to make ore particles move in different directions by their different density and granularity. The long discharging line makes sure the products with different grades and quality_there are headings, middlings and tailings.
As the equipment for gravity separation, table concentrator was widely used to separate placer gold before, but it is mainly used to separate gold and coal now.
